===Lebanon=== During the early 1990s, the [[Lebanese Air Force]] (LAF) inducted their first UH-1 helicopters.<ref name= "vertical leb2021"/> During the [[2007 Lebanon conflict]], at the Battle of Nahr el-Bared in North Lebanon, the Lebanese Army, lacking fixed-wing aircraft, modified several UH-1Hs to carry {{convert|500|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} [[Mark 82 bomb]]s, enabling it to perform [[helicopter bombing]], and used it to strike militant-held positions.
