As of March 2011, there were a total of 20,684 registered voters in Westfield, of which 6,485 (31.4% vs. 41.8% countywide) were registered as [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democrats]], 5,244 (25.4% vs. 15.3%) were registered as [[Republican Party (United States)|Republicans]] and 8,942 (43.2% vs. 42.9%) were registered as [[Unaffiliated (New Jersey)|Unaffiliated]].
