There is an exit to [[Arkhangelsk]], [[Veliky Ustyug]] and [[Vologda]] along the A123 federal highway, adjacent to Vyatka, 340 kilometers from Kirov. The regional highway P159 connects Kirov with [[Nizhny Novgorod]]. Kirov is a major railway junction of the [[Trans-Siberian Railway]].
