In 2019 the [[Dallas Independent School District]] (DISD) opened [[North Lake Early College High School]],<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.dallasisd.org/domain/20947|title=About North Lake ECHS|publisher=North Lake Early College High School|access-date=2019-10-22}}</ref> which has a campus for students in grades 9–10 at North Lake South.
