The flag of Sweden appears in coat of arms of [[Finland]]'s province [[Southwest Finland]].

The flag of [[Wilmington, Delaware]] in the United States is modelled after the Swedish flag in remembrance of the short-lived colony of [[New Sweden]], with the cross affixed with the seal of the city. The seal of the Municipal Council of [[Shanghai International Settlement]] incorporated the 1844 Swedish civil ensign.
