No exact data are available concerning the different ethnic groups in Turkey. The last census data according to language date from 1965 and major changes may have occurred since then. However, it is clear that the [[Turkish people|Turkish]] are in the majority, while the largest minority groups are [[Kurds]] and [[Arabs]]. Smaller minorities are the [[Armenians]], [[Greeks]] and others.
