===Primary and secondary education===
The community is served by [[Chase County USD 284]] public school district.  It has two schools.

* [https://www.usd284.org/o/usd-284/page/chase-county-schools Chase County Elementary School],  410 Palmer St., [[Strong City, Kansas]].  The former elementary school building in Cottonwood Falls closed in 2018 and is now located in neighboring Strong City.
