Agoura Hills is home to the Great Race of Agoura Hills, an annual running event held at Chumash Park in Agoura Hills in March of every year.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://greatrace.run/|title=SoCal's Most Beautiful Courses; Run April 1, 2023! Limited Space|publisher=Great Race}}</ref> The Great Race was established in 1986 and features six races including Pacific Half (half-marathon), Chesebro Half (half-marathon), Old Agoura 10K, Deena Kastor (5 kilometers), Kids 1 Mile, and the Family Fun Run (1 mile).
