[[Rugby league]], [[Soccer]], [[Cricket]] and [[Basketball]] are all popular team sports in Roma. The [[Roma District Rugby League]] founded in 1914 operates in the region, the Roma Cities Gladiators, Arthur Beetson's former team is the local senior club which has dominated the competition since the 1980s. There are also local junior clubs for boys and girls. The Roma & District Soccer Association has mainly junior teams.
