On 19 August 2014, while being interviewed on [[Cuatro (Spanish TV channel)|Cuatro]]'s show ''Todo va bien'', a journalist asked Melody about her refined [[accent (sociolinguistics)|accent]] despite being from [[Dos Hermanas]], wondering if she had access to higher education. Melody only answered the second question, pointing out that she had a private tutor since she was 10 years old.
