===Geology===
The island is primarily composed of [[granite]] of 59.8 ± 0.4 – 58.4 ± 0.4 million years<ref name="Charles, et al. (2017)">{{cite journal |last1=Charles |first1=J. H. |last2=Whitehouse |first2=M.
