According to the 2017 census by the [[Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics]], Jenin had a population of 49,908,<ref name="PrelimCensus2017" /> the Jenin Refugee Camp of 10,417<ref name="PrelimCensus2017" /> on 373 [[dunam]]s (92&nbsp;[[acre]]s). Some 42.3% of the population of the camp was under the age of 15.
