=== Connection line to Waterloo ===
A {{convert|4|km|adj=on|spell=in}} connecting line providing access for [[Waterloo International railway station|Waterloo International]] leaves High Speed 1 at Southfleet Junction using a grade-separated junction; the main CTRL tracks continue uninterrupted through to CTRL Section 2 underneath the southbound flyover. The connection joins the [[Chatham Main Line]] at Fawkham Junction with a flat crossing.
