According to the [[Ethnologue]], there are 36 indigenous living languages, which include 17 [[Sino-Tibetan]], 10 [[Indo-European]], 7 [[Austro-Asiatic]] and 2 [[Dravidian languages]].<ref name="ethnologue.com" />
