===Literature===
In 2006, Lynch wrote a short book, ''[[Catching the Big Fish|Catching the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness, and Creativity]]'', which describes his creative processes, stories from his career, and the benefits he realized from his practice of [[Transcendental Meditation]]. He describes the metaphor behind the title in the introduction:
