In recent years, there have been a number of antisemitic incidents on CUNY campuses, including:

CUNY has taken steps to address antisemitism on its campuses. In 2020, the university created a task force to combat antisemitism. In June 2024, the United States Department of Education concluded that CUNY has failed to protect Jewish students from discrimination following the [[2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel|October 7 attacks]]. CUNY's Hunter College also faced scrutiny for incidents dating back to 2021. In response, Chancellor Félix V.
