Autodesk CFD (formerly Autodesk Simulation CFD) includes modeling and thermal modeling tools for architectural and MEP applications. Common applications for environmental [[sustainable design]] include mechanical ventilation, external flow (wind loading), natural ventilation, and occupant comfort. In 2006, Autodesk sponsored a [[Public Broadcasting Service|PBS]] program named ''e² Design'',<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.pbs.org/e2/design.html|title=e² - design - PBS|website=[[PBS]]|access-date=25 September 2015}}</ref> which focused on green building design around the world, describing the leaders and technologies that drive sustainable design.
