The 2024–25 campaign is Aston Villa's 111th season in the top tier of English football. Aston Villa were relegated from the top tier of English football in 2016, having played in every Premier League season since its establishment in [[1992–93 FA Premier League|1992–93]], but were promoted back in [[2018–19 EFL Championship|2018–19]]. Aston Villa are one of six English teams to have won the [[UEFA Champions League|European Cup]].
