The Airbus A320 family are [[low-wing]] [[cantilever]] [[monoplane]]s with a conventional [[empennage]] with a single [[vertical stabilizer|vertical stabiliser]] and [[rudder]]. Its [[wing sweep]] is 25 degrees. Compared to other airliners of the same class, the A320 features a wider single-aisle cabin of {{convert|3.95|m|in}} outside diameter,<ref name="A320 specifications"/> compared to the {{cvt|148|in|m|order=flip}} of the Boeing 737 or [[Boeing 757|757]], and larger overhead bins. Its cargo hold can accommodate [[unit load device]] containers.
