====COVID-19 pandemic and return to touring (2020β2022) ==== {{further|Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sports}} In March 2020, WWE began to be impacted by the [[COVID-19 pandemic in the United States|American onset]] of the [[COVID-19 pandemic]]. In mid-March, three of the four major sports leagues closed locker rooms to the media as a precautionary measure.
