In August 2023, [[Rogers Communications|Rogers]] implemented 5G wireless service at all the TTC's downtown stations and within the tunnels between them.<ref name="TheStar-2023-09-11" />

In December 2024, the TTC said that the service would be discontinued on December 27, 2024, due to low usage.<ref name=":3" />
