==Demographics== According to the [[Israel Central Bureau of Statistics|Central Bureau of Statistics]] (CBS), as of August 2023, 49,876 inhabitants lived in Tiberias. According to CBS, as of December 2019 the city was rated 4 out of 10 on the socio-economic scale. The yearly growth rate of its population is 3.9%.
