Introduced in 1991, the [[FN P90]] features an unusual appearance, having a 50-round magazine housed horizontally above the barrel, an integrated [[reflector sight|reflex sight]] and fully [[ambidextrous]] controls.<ref name="Kevin, Dockery 2007">Kevin, Dockery (2007).
