The County Council is the [[Legislature|legislative]] branch of Montgomery County. It has [[List of members of the Montgomery County Council (Maryland)|eleven members]] who serve four-year terms. The council meets weekly at the county seat of Rockville—the 6th Floor of the Stella B.
