==Personal life==

Nile is also a musician, and was frontman of the band Man Made before going solo. After residing in [[Portland, Oregon]], for more than five years, the family returned to Britain for Marr to record his solo album in Manchester.

Marr has said that he does not consider himself English or British, saying, "Anyone who looks back on the past 30 years of my career will know that I've always described myself as Mancunian Irish. I was the first of my family to be born in England. I've never described myself as British or English.
