===Boley Rodeo===
A tradition since 1903, the Boley Rodeo is the longest-running Black rodeo in the United States.<ref name="blacksher" /> The event, which typically takes place around [[Memorial Day|Memorial Day weekend]] every year, embodies a celebration of Boley's rich history and culture. Karen Ekuban, a community organizer who has been instrumental in revitalizing and promoting the rodeo in recent years, describes the event as "a homecoming for our alumni, their children, and even their children’s children. Every Memorial Day weekend, they know they’re coming home."<ref name="blacksher" />
