===Post-exposure prophylaxis===
Tetanus toxoid can be given in case of suspected exposure to tetanus. In such cases, it can be given with or without tetanus [[immunoglobulin]] (also called ''tetanus antibodies'' or ''tetanus antitoxin''<ref name=britannica2013/>).
