===Historic buildings and sites=== In 2020, Tenino created the "Tenino Creative Arts District" by certification thru the Washington state Arts Commission. The area, designated as including the historic downtown, business district, and the entirety of Tenino City Park, is projected to include public art of various mediums, including murals and metal banners and signs depicting Tenino's history. A scavenger hunt is to be based on the artworks.<ref>{{cite news |last1=Warn |first1=Daniel |title=Tenino Creative District Moves Forward With Plans to Make Arts 'Economically Viable' in City |url=https://www.chronline.com/stories/tenino-creative-district-moves-forward-with-plans-to-make-arts-economically-viable-in-city,286036? |access-date=29 July 2022 |work=The Chronicle |date=March 14, 2022}}</ref> The banners, 23 in total, were added to light poles in the downtown district in October 2023.<ref>{{cite news |last1=Sexton |first1=Owen |title=Tenino Creative Arts District unveils metal artwork for city's downtown area |url=https://www.chronline.com/stories/tenino-creative-arts-district-unveils-metal-artwork-for-citys-downtown-area,326597 |access-date=June 12, 2024 |work=The Chronicle |date=October 2, 2023}}</ref> [[De Beers]] heiress, Rebecca L.
