Cultural references to the TARDIS are many and varied.

In music, [[The KLF]] (performing as "The Timelords") released a novelty pop single in 1988 entitled "[[Doctorin' the Tardis]]". The record reached number one in the [[UK Singles Chart]] and had chart success worldwide.
