===Homelessness===
There are at least 2,700 homeless people in Sonoma County. Around 1,500 are in Santa Rosa, about one percent of the city. Downtown Santa Rosa, including its outskirts and the area south of the [[Santa Rosa Plaza|Santa Rosa Mall]] (Wilson and Morgan Street) and Mendocino Avenue area, South Park/Fairgrounds area, Santa Rosa Avenue, West Steele Lane, and the [[Joe Rodota Trail]]/Stony Point districts and neighborhoods have been concentrations of homeless people since the 2000s.
