==== Historical parks ==== The [[San Juan National Historic Site]] is home to [[El Morro Esplanade]], a large open area located between [[Castillo San Felipe del Morro|El Morro]] and [[Ballaj谩, Old San Juan|Ballaj谩]] in [[Old San Juan]]. The esplanade is located in the [[promontory]] which gives ''El Morro'' its name and it offers views of the [[San Juan Bay]] and the rest of San Juan. It is the largest public square in Puerto Rico, and it is home to several historic sites such as the [[San Ger贸nimo Powderhouse|Polvor铆n San Ger贸nimo de Boquer贸n]], which used to supply gunpowder to the nearby [[Fort铆n de San Ger贸nimo]]. The park used to host a small zoo, and currently hosts gazebos, gardens, restaurants and access to the beach.
