In December 2017, Polanski filed a [[Israeli new shekel|₪]]1.5 million suit in [[Herzliya]] Magistrates' Court against Israeli journalist and filmmaker [[Matan Uziel]].<ref>{{cite web |last=Spiro |first=Amy |title=Roman Polanski Files Nis 1.5m. In November 2022, Polanski filed a [[cybersquatting]] dispute with [[World Intellectual Property Organization]] against the domain name imetpolanski.com. Polanski asked World Intellectual Property Organization to rule that the site was cybersquatting.
