===Cyprus=== {{See also|Civilian casualties and displacements during the Cyprus conflict}} After the [[Turkish invasion of Cyprus]] and subsequent [[Cyprus dispute#The divided island 1974β1997|division of the island]], there was an agreement between the [[Greek Cypriot|Greek]] representative on one side and the [[Turkish Cypriot]] representative on the other side under the auspices of the [[United Nations]] on August 2, 1975.
