Malé City Council is the [[local government]] body responsible for the governance of the city of Malé. The council was created in 2011, with the enactment of the Decentralization Bill. The city is divided into 18 political [[ward (politics)|wards]] each with one councillor.

In the Local Council Elections in 2021, the mayor was elected for the first time, with [[Mohamed Muizzu]] being elected to the position.
