The {{convert|9.2|ft|m|0}} tall and {{convert|19.6|ft|m|0}} wide Dunton-Taylor delta kite's flight was controlled by a winch system using {{convert|40682|ft|m|0}} of ultra high strength Dyneema line. The flight took about eight hours from ground and return. The height was measured with on-board GPS telemetry transmitting positional data in real time to a ground-based computer and also back-up GPS data loggers for later analysis.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.kitesite.com.au/kiterecord/september_2014.html|title=Untitled Page|first=R|last=Moore|website=Kitesite.com.au}}</ref>
