Following the opening of Terminal 5 in March 2008, a complex programme of terminal moves was implemented. ==== Terminal usage during the COVID-19 pandemic ====
Heathrow Airport has four terminals with a total of 115 gates, 66 of which can support wide-body aircraft and 24 gates that can support an [[Airbus A380]]. Due to the [[COVID-19 pandemic]], Heathrow's services were sharply reduced.
