[[Kansas State University]] is in [[Manhattan, Kansas]], which is part of the [[Topeka, Kansas]] media market, but it is close to the Wichita market, which encompasses two-thirds of the state (stretching to the border with [[Colorado]]), including the cities of [[Dodge City, Kansas|Dodge City]], [[Garden City, Kansas|Garden City]], [[Hutchinson, Kansas|Hutchinson]] and [[Salina, Kansas|Salina]].

While the [[University of Kansas]] is in [[Lawrence, Kansas]], it has close proximity to the Kansas City television market, increasing the base into western [[Missouri]].
