The team finished 1st in the Central Division in the 2012β13, 2013β14, and 2014β15 seasons, and advanced to the Robertson Cup Finals in 2014 and 2015, though ultimately losing the championship both times. The Bruins play their home games at [[#Riverside Arena|Riverside Arena]]. Austin previously was represented in Junior hockey by the [[Austin Mavericks]], a team that first participated in the [[Midwest Junior Hockey League]] from 1974 to 1977 and following a league merger competed in the [[United States Hockey League]] from 1977 to 1985.
