==Aftermath== Frustrated by the album's year-long delay and unsuccessful release, [[Lou Reed]]'s relationship with [[Andy Warhol]] grew tense. Reed fired Warhol as manager in favor of [[Steve Sesnick]],<ref>{{harvnb|Bockris|Malanga|1996|p=69}}</ref> who convinced the group to move towards a more commercial direction.<ref>{{harvnb|Hogan|1997|p=50}}</ref> Nico was forced out of the group, and began a career as a solo artist.
