The [[Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston]] operates three churches in Sugar Land:
* St. Laurence Church – Its sanctuary had its dedication ceremony in 1992. By 2006 St. Laurence had 4,600 families on its rolls and was oversubscribed.
