==Philanthropy== On November 12, 2014, it was announced that Ballmer and his wife Connie donated $50 million to the [[University of Oregon]]. Connie Ballmer is a University of Oregon alumna and previously was on the institution's [[Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon|board of trustees]].
