Despite the small size of the hall, the [[St Benet's Hall Boat Club]] raced an [[Eight (rowing)|eight boat]] on the River Thames for many years.<ref>[https://sbhbccommittee.wixsite.com/sbhbc Home - St Benet's Hall Boat Club].</ref> In recent years, it has had a good record of winning 'blades', the trophy awarded for 'bumping' (rowing past teams ranked above) every day in the [[Torpids]] and [[Summer Eights]] [[bumps race]]s. The Boat Club's M1 won blades most recently in 2019.<ref>{{Cite web|title=Torpids 2019|url=http://eodg.atm.ox.ac.uk/user/dudhia/rowing/bumps/t2019/|access-date=2021-05-19|website=eodg.atm.ox.ac.uk}}</ref> Although the Hall is closed, the St. Benet's Hall Boat Club still exists. 
The hall also had its own [[netball]], [[rugby sevens]], and [[field hockey]] teams, as well as a [[association football|football]] team joint with [[Regent's Park College]].
