As for Etruscan religion, N. Thomas De Grummond has suggested to identify Sancus in the inscription {{Lang|la|Selvans Sanchuneta}} found on a {{Lang|la|[[cippus]]}} unearthed near Bolsena; however, other scholars connect this epithet to a local family {{Lang|la|gentilicium}}.<ref>N.
