The [[Minnesota Governor's Residence]], which is used for some state functions, is on [[Summit Avenue (St. Paul)|Summit Avenue]]. The [[Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party]] (affiliated with the [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democratic Party]]) is headquartered in Saint Paul. Numerous state departments and services are also headquartered in Saint Paul, such as the [[Minnesota Department of Natural Resources]].
