Ayurvedic massage is known as ''Abhyangam'' in Sanskrit. According to the Ayurvedic Classics ''Abhyangam'' is an important dincharya (Daily Regimen) that is needed for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The massage technique used during Ayurvedic Massage aims to stimulate the lymphatic system.
