In November 2024, Lil Wayne, during the Lil WeezyAna Fest, received a [[List of Keys to the City in the United States#Louisiana|Key to the City]] from New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell. In the same tribute, [[Master P]] announced the creation of the [[New Orleans Walk of Fame|NOLA Walk of Fame]] and presented Wayne with a fleur-de-lis plaque to mark this honor.
