===Associate members=== [[File:EBU Associate Members.svg|thumb|350px|Countries with Associate EBU Membership]] Any group or organisation from an [[International Telecommunication Union]] (ITU) member country, which provides a radio or television service outside of the European Broadcasting Area, is permitted to submit applications to the EBU for Associate Membership.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.ebu.ch/about/members/admission|title=Admission|website=ebu.ch|publisher=EBU|access-date=27 June 2009}}</ref> It is also noted by the EBU that any broadcaster that is granted Associate Member status does not gain access into Eurovision events<ref name="EBU Associates"/>{{Snd}}notable exceptions being those from Australia, who have participated in the [[Eurovision Song Contest]] since {{escyr|2015}} and the [[Junior Eurovision Song Contest]] between {{escyr|2015|J}} and {{escyr|2019|J}}; Canada, who participated in the [[Eurovision Young Dancers]] between [[Eurovision Young Dancers 1987|1987]] and [[Eurovision Young Dancers 1989|1989]]; and Kazakhstan, who participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest between {{escyr|2018|J}} and {{escyr|2022|J}}{{Snd}}all of which were individually invited.
