Edward's [[Coat of arms of the Prince of Wales|coat of arms as the Prince of Wales]] was the [[royal arms]] [[Difference (heraldry)|differenced]] by a [[Label (heraldry)|label]] of three points [[argent]] and an [[inescutcheon]] of the [[Coat of arms of Saxony|Duchy of Saxony]], representing his paternal arms.
