Bogalusa operates its own public school system, [[Bogalusa City Schools]], consisting of seven [[elementary school]]s, one [[junior high]] and one [[high school]]. Northshore Technical Community College is located in Bogalusa. In 1930, it was the first trade school established in the state of Louisiana, and it is now a fully accredited community college.
