===Liberia=== In Liberia, tailor apprenticeships engage with more skilled tailors to learn the craft and the skills that may be taught in more traditional school settings. They learn from master tailors, which gives the apprentices a promised job once their training is completed. Apprentices must have a grasp on patterns, measurement, and other mathematics skills. They demonstrate full concept mastery before moving on to the next piece of clothing. Instead of formal testing for evaluation, articles of clothing must meet the quality standards before they can be sold and before the apprentice can begin a new design.<ref>{{Cite book|title=The Culture of Acquisition and the Practice of Understanding|last=Lave|first=Jean|publisher=Institute for Research Learning|year=1988|pages=310β326}}</ref>
